Gorringe’s Renews Headline Sponsorship for Artwave 2026, Featuring Exclusive Lord Gage Exhibition
Gorringe’s will return as Headline Sponsor for the upcoming Artwave 2026 festival, running from 5 – 20 September.
Now in its 33rd year, Artwave has been celebrating local creativity since 1993. The annual festival brings together hundreds of artists and makers across the Lewes district, from local galleries and open studios to public spaces, creating vibrant cultural hubs for visitors to explore. Gorringe’s renewed headline partnership underscores a deep shared commitment to celebrating both the rich artistic heritage and the talent of the local area.
Founded in 1929, Gorringe’s has long been an integral part of the Lewes community, offering expertise on fine art, furniture, jewellery, silver, watches, ceramics, and Asian art.
Lord Gage Exhibition
As part of this year’s involvement, we will host a special feature exhibition showcasing works by Lord Gage at its Lewes galleries throughout the festival. The exhibition offers attendees a rare opportunity to view and, in several cases, acquire original pieces by the local artist.

- Fridays & Mondays (5, 7, 11, 14, 18 Sept): 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturdays (12 & 19 Sept): 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Beyond the feature exhibition, Gorringe’s continues to welcome the public to explore our regularly rotating sales during Friday, Saturday, and Monday viewing days. Members of the public interested in discovering the story or value behind their art and antiques can visit the Lewes saleroom Monday - Saturday for complimentary, no-appointment-necessary valuations. Valuation services are also available at the Tunbridge Wells office on Tuesdays (1pm – 5pm) and Thursdays (9am – 5pm).
