Kate Harries

Kate Harries joined Gorringe’s in September 2025 following an extensive career in antiquarian books and the book trade, where she handled international fairs and auctions.

She has a particular interest in travel books and atlases, especially colour-plate books, and brings a strong understanding of both bibliographic detail and the collector’s market.

Career highlights include an exceptional eighteenth-century illuminated maritime manuscript journal, a sixteenth-century Ortelius atlas, and a collection of early erotica.
