DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES

Personal correspondence & ephemera, relating to her schooldays and friendships, and the Royal honeymoon.

A signed letter written at Balmoral during the Royal honeymoon, sent to an old school friend, offered alongside personal cards and school photographs — rare intimacy from a very public life.

Estimate: £4,000 - £6,000

THE THATCHER PAPERS

An historically important archive chronicling the inside story of Margaret Thatcher’s election to the Conservative Party leadership in 1975.

Thatcher’s signed nomination papers, previously undisclosed correspondence, and the document confirming her election to the Conservative leadership in 1975; an archive held by Sir Edward du Cann, the man who ran the ballot as Chairman of the 1922 Committee.

Estimate: £50,000 - £100,000
